Garware
Community Centres
GHFL has set up community centres in N-7, CIDCO, Aurangabad and Waluj village, Gangapur in order to raise awareness amongst all age groups by conducting social, cultural, educational, and sports awareness activities that enable the comprehensive development of an entire community. The centres are registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 as Charitable Public Trust.
Garware
Bal Bhavan
We have associated with the National Bal Bhavan to actively promote their ‘Build the India of your Dreams with Values’ programme. As a part of the project, the children at Garware Bal Bhavan participate in various activities and campaigns that will enable a giant step towards building the India of their dreams.
Transforming
Rural Lives
We intend to solve the problem of scarcity of water in rural areas by actively reviving the borewells that have hit dry land or require regular maintenance through our community centres. So far, we have repaired 55 hand pumps across 17 villages in the Aurangabad district, with plans to enable the villagers by giving them adequate repair training.
With our CSR activities, we have managed to make the following impact
2,00,000+ lives benefitted from the community centres
25,000+ face shields donated to the health and police departments during the lockdown
Several ventilators and PPE kits donated to medical institutions and municipal corporations
Helped the fight against COVID-19 by converting the community centres into vaccination centres
Several vaccination camps conducted
Started Jalpurti Abhiyan to provide clean drinking water.
